Community Support - Weeks 19 & 20

Another fortnightly update for you all! Here's what we've been working on for the last two weeks with the help of our volunteer team:

💙 135 requests for support

💙 530 hot meals delivered

💙 One very special package delivered to Bayview care home after Lora Dillon got in touch to ask if we could deliver gorgeous items her grandaughter, Ava had made and wanted to gift to the elderly. You can see Ava giving the box of handmade coasters to one of our volunteer team for delivery in the picture attached.

In the last two weeks we've been lucky to secure funding to support Thurso town centre in a recovery project (WOOHOO) AND been invited to the Castle of Mey to meet HRH The Prince Charles Duke of Rothsay. The Prince who thanked not only the trust but the volunteers for your time, efforts and dedication over the last few months. We were thrilled to see Joan invited to attend as she's put so much effort into the community response, it was lovely to get the recognition.
