Recycling Competition

Who can participate: everyone!

Prize: 10 points per bin and a trip to Merlin Cinema for the winning house!

Use the recycling bins of your House to dispose of recyclable waste responsibly! There are 5 dedicated #beasolution recycling waste containers for this competition, which are located in the school lobby and branded with house logos.

For each full bin of good recycling, your House will be awarded 10 points.

Once the bin is full, its content will be checked for contamination, and if the bin fails the check the points will not be awarded.

If any student is spotted contaminating any of the Recycling Competition bins, be it their own House or rival House, the House and the individual student will be fined for 5 points.

If you witness anyone contaminating the bins, take the evidence - a photo or a video of the act, and get in touch with Thurso High Sustainability Committee.
